Dunlap Woodcrafts selects and processes kiln-dried hardwood billets for musical
instrument necks. These pieces of wood are hand selected or carefully re-sawn for
use in guitars, banjo, mandolins, violins, violas, and bass-guitars necks. We inspect
end-grain alignment, as well as grain direction in order to avoid grain run out.
Billets may be square or rectangular.
Although no one in the shop has ever build a musical instrument, our own customers
have giving us the greatest training for selecting wood for necks and musical instrument
grade lumber.
