  Dunlap Woodcrafts stocks all major components for copies of an Isaac Haines rifle, and supplies the components in full sets. A full component set includes a fully –carved stock with castoff, inletted for a swamped barrel, lock, buttplate, triggerguard, trigger, sideplate, and ramrod pipes. Each set also includes front and rear sights tang and lock screws, and barrel staples or dovetail lugs. The rifle can be assembled to shooting in the white in 10 to 12 hours, and yet it can be highly decorated if so desired. This is an outstanding reproduction of a traditional revolutionary-period Lancaster-school rifle, and it is considered to be one of the best sets of muzzleloading components available. The following is a list of different choices in components that are available:

ISAAC HAINES B           -(Right-handed only) available in curly maple,

                                                walnut,  cherry or ash. The stock is fully shaped.

                                               -Barrel, 38” swamped (32,36,40,45,or50 cal.)

-Lock Siler-flint or percussion, assembled and ready to install.

                                                -Furniture, iron or bronze, high quality investment casting.

ISSAC HAINES C            -(Left or right handed) available in curly maple, walnut, cherry or ash. The stock is fully shaped.

-Barrel, 38” swamped (32,36,40,45,50,  or 54 cal.) The Isaacs Haines C barrel is 1/16 of an inch larger across the flats than the Isaacs Haines B barrel.

                                                -All other parts are the same above.

The following component sets are available on order: however,  we do not stock large numbers of barrels or other parts for these.

ISAAC HAINES GA        -(Right handed only) available in curly maple,

                                                Walnut, cherry or ash. This stock is inletted for

                                                the barrel, lock,buttplate, ramrod groove and

                                                hole, and has the buttstock forward to in front

                                                of the lock mortise carved. The forestock is left square.

                                                -Barrel, Getz 42 inch Golden Age B and C  swamped

                                                barrels, (.40  to .54 cal)

                                                -The buttplate and triggerguards are larger than the

                                                above parts, all other parts are the same.

EDWARD MARSHALL             –(Right handed only) Available in curly maple, walnut cherry and ash. The amount of stock inletting is similar to the Isaac Haines GA above.

-Barrel, Getz 37 inch swamped Transition D (.45, .50, .54, .58, .60,and .62 cal)

-Buttplate, triggerguard, trigger, lock, ramrod pipes, and sideplate are from Davis. All other parts are the same as on above Isaac Haines sets.

JAEGER RIFLE                           -(Right handed only) Available in curly maple, walnut, cherry and ash. (Also available in English and Claro Walnut at extra cost). The amount of stock inletting is similar to the Isaac Haines GA above.

-Barrel Getz 31 inch swamped Jaeger  bbl (.50, .54, .58, .60, and .62 cal)

-Buttplate, triggerguard, trigger, lock, ramrod  pipes, and sideplate are from Davis. All other parts are similar to those on the above Isaac Haines sets.

PRICE- All the above component sets except the Jaeger in English and Claro walnut are $660.00 to $800.00 plus shipping, depending on the grade of wood. The lowest priced blank has grade 4 curly maple unless otherwise specified.
